How the 6 times table works
Multiplying by 6 means adding 6 to itself a certain number of times. For example, 6 × 3 means 6 added together 3 times. Once you know a few key facts - like ×1, ×2, ×5, and ×10 - the rest of the 6 times table becomes much easier to work out.
